Television

The great thing about television is that if something important happens anywhere in the world, day or night, you can always change the channel.

Jeg er glad for at jeg kjøpte ny tv, selv om jeg av og til savner den fjernsynsfrie tilværelsen.

Fjernsynsfri er fint, men det går mye interessant på tv også. "God kveld, Norge" og sånnt...

I can see old Mr SailorMan will hook up with a TV in the immediate future. That's good I guess - Tv's not all that bad, and really, sometimes I wish life could be like TV, when something bad or boring or really really tragic happens, then it really should have been possible to change channels, and get a fresh start. Just think of that poor family down in Stavanger who is no longer with us, just because of an unimportant job related incident. It makes me sad. Imagine a father strangling his own two children! How is it even possible to think about it? It all makes LEF want to cry, and I just hope they are in a better place now.

I think about the ones who had to see the other ones get killed. Thursday evening TV2 interviewed a girl from Sveio who wasn't at home the day her father killed her mother, brother and sister. Life is cruel to a lot of people. We should learn to appreciate what we got.
