And then it struck me that the internet maybe have made some of his theories more valid? I don't really know, but we're constantly reposting copies of copies of copies of pictures/movies/sound clips somebody recorded once, and I guess that's something that would fascinate him?Luke's Evil Fatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10203554070154496303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7398016515123315314.post-9246274142868672532007-03-07T23:59:00.000+01:002007-03-07T23:59:00.000+01:00Du glemte dop og sigaretter.Du glemte dop og sigaretter.Fire kaffehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03198696412183138555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7398016515123315314.post-7718187809395609252007-03-07T23:33:00.000+01:002007-03-07T23:33:00.000+01:00Internett er Gud, bursdag og sex.Hurra!Internett er Gud, bursdag og sex.
Hurra!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7398016515123315314.post-3131078410918673292007-03-07T22:58:00.000+01:002007-03-07T22:58:00.000+01:00Thanks, evil dad! I first noticed him during the first Gulf War, when he said that the war wasn't real, it was simulated. I remember thinking Fuck You Jean, tell it to all the dead GIs and all the dead Arabs for that matter:

"One of his better known theories postulates that we live in a world where simulated feelings and experiences have replaced the real thing. This seductive “hyperreality,” where shopping malls, amusement parks and mass-produced images from the news, television shows and films dominate, is drained of authenticity and meaning. Since illusion reigns, he counseled people to give up the search for reality."

http://www.nytimes.com/reuters/world/international-france-philosopher.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BaudrillardLuke's Evil Fatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10203554070154496303noreply@blogger.com
